Carrie Partna - Personal Trainer |

Experiencing first-hand how powerful strength and cardio training are in reducing stress in our lives is what drew me to this profession. However, my love and passion for what I do is what has kept me here for so many years.
Seven years ago I started my career as a personal trainer with a major national chain. I quickly realized that though I was hired as a personal trainer, the chain's first concern was not the quality of training my clients were getting, but rather the revenue I was generating through re-signs and supplement sales. The mighty dollar was more important than my clients' progress and that bothered me. Being a mother of four, I was also not a fan of the "meat market" atmosphere that many gyms and clubs have become. My concern and interest in my clients' results were genuine and I knew I could provide far superior service in a studio of my own.
My experience includes seven years of personal training, multiple certifications through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and additional continuing education courses. I am a certified metabolic technician through New Leaf Fitness, as well as a contractor with Evergreen Hospital, working with Jarreau Gardner, the bariatric support group facilitator and a certified Nutritionist. All these qualifications give me great experience and knowledge in my field; however, what really allows me to be successful at what I do is my unique ability to connect with and motivate people.
So why should you choose me as your trainer? When clients choose me to take this journey with them, they are inviting me into a part of their world that is frequently protected and guarded. The energy of excitement, joy, and hope that I get to experience with my clients when they achieve their goal is what makes what I do fulfilling on so many levels. This is why I love what I do.
